Your teaching. Your information.
AIR Master Class provides this website and the AIR teaching application. This notice covers website visits, Google, email/password and email-code sign-in, lesson creation and uploads, live classes, class reports and enquiries. A school or teacher may also have its own privacy notice for the classes it organises.
- AI tools process the lesson material supplied for the task. Keep private student information out of prompts and uploads.
- Camera and microphone access require browser permission. You control whether to send your audio or video.
- Signing out or closing a page does not delete saved lessons or class records.
Information used by AIR
- Accounts: email address, profile details you provide, school or workspace membership, permissions, login-code verification and session records. These let us sign you in and control access.
- Teaching material: lesson topics, curriculum choices, uploaded presentations and pictures, slide edits, teaching scripts, personal notes, generated resources and published versions. These support saving, editing, teaching and downloading your work.
- Class participation: schedules, the name a student supplies when joining, invitation and admission records, attendance and connection events, hand raises, and activity responses where used. These support the classroom and its reports.
- Enquiries: the name, email, interest and message you submit through Contact us. These are sent to AIR’s monitored inbox so the team can respond; submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
- Service operation: request and device information, network addresses or derived identifiers, errors, security events, and AI job, usage and cost records. These support delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and usage controls.
Browser storage also supports sign-in, class access, preferences and recovery of unfinished edits. See the Cookie Policy for the distinction between saved server data and information kept on your device.
Sign-in and tutoring accounts
Google and email/password sign-in use Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase handles your password, verification links, provider credentials and account recovery; AIR does not store your password. Where phone sign-in is enabled, Firebase processes your phone number for verification and abuse prevention. AIR retains a purpose-bound identity reference and encrypted short-lived verification evidence to check revoked access. Teacher and marketplace sessions have separate permissions.
The online tutoring pilot uses adult accounts. A parent or guardian manages a minor’s learning, messages and purchases. Private learner nicknames, goals and messages are separate from public tutor profiles and learning needs. Tutor submissions and reported conversations may be reviewed by authorised AIR reviewers. Browsing and publishing a learning need are free; real payment capture is disabled until the payment provider and commercial terms are qualified. Public profiles are reviewed, but a review is not a guarantee of identity, qualifications or outcomes.
Firebase verification and reset messages are delivered by Firebase; AIR email-code and marketplace notifications use the existing email provider. Firebase’s privacy information explains provider processing.
When you use AI
AIR uses OpenAI for text generation and Google Gemini for image generation. A generation or editing request sends the instructions and relevant lesson context to the selected provider. For example, generating teaching scripts for an uploaded presentation can send extracted slide content; generating a picture sends its description and relevant task context.
These tools are part of teacher preparation, not a direct student chatbot. Check and correct generated text, images and scripts before teaching or sharing them. Do not include student names, contact details, health information or other private records in material submitted to AI.
Provider processing and retention depend on the service and account configuration. AIR does not promise zero provider retention, a particular processing country, or that every account’s optional data-sharing setting has been verified. See OpenAI’s API data controls and the Gemini API terms.
Live classrooms and students
Students can enter a teacher-organised class through an invitation link and a joining name; they do not need a teacher account for that flow. The teacher manages admission and classroom permissions. The organising teacher or school is responsible for explaining participation to students and arranging any parent or guardian permission that is required.
100ms provides live video and audio. Joining video sends connection and room information to 100ms; turning on your camera, microphone or screen sharing sends that media to the service and the permitted participants. You can turn devices off, leave video or revoke browser permissions. Classroom attendance and connection records can remain after you leave.
The current AIR integration disables provider recording and transcription. The “teaching script” is prepared lesson guidance, not a transcript of the live call. AIR cannot prevent someone from recording externally or taking a screenshot.
Teachers and authorised workspace staff can access the class records their role permits. Students receive the classroom material intended for them. Teacher explanations and personal notes are excluded from the normal student display; personal notes can be included in teacher sharing or teacher exports when the teacher chooses those options. Take care when screen sharing or forwarding downloaded files.
Designated AIR platform administrators can inspect and update permitted account, workspace, lesson and class records to operate and support the service. Private teaching scripts and notes require an additional, purpose-specific access check. This support access and administrative changes are recorded. “Private” teaching material is hidden from students; it does not exclude this restricted support access.
Services involved in delivery
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Hosts AIR’s application, database and stored files.
- Resend
- Delivers login codes, invitations and supported service emails, and forwards contact enquiries to AIR. Email addresses, message content and delivery status are involved. Resend privacy information.
- OpenAI and Google Gemini
- Process the teacher’s AI requests described above.
- 100ms
- Provides live-class media and connection services. 100ms privacy information.
- Google Fonts
- The website requests font files from Google. Your browser makes an external request, including connection information, when it loads them. Google Fonts information.
Processing by these services may take place outside your country. Their public policies describe their own services and do not replace this notice. AIR’s current marketing pages do not include advertising pixels or a marketing analytics integration.
Keeping and removing information
Saved lessons, published versions, teaching notes, schedules and class reports are stored so you can return to them. Temporary credentials, original import files, AI request payloads, diagnostics and some activity records have separate expiry or cleanup rules. There is no single deletion period for all AIR data.
Expiry of an original upload does not delete the lesson created from it. Deleting or archiving a lesson does not necessarily remove earlier published versions, materials pinned to a scheduled class, downloaded copies, or all related security records. Enquiry emails are held in the email service and AIR’s inbox; the contact form does not save their text in AIR’s database or browser storage.
Contact AIR for the retention or deletion options that apply to your account, school or class. Browser storage, exported files, provider records and backup copies are separate from the active application, so a request may require more than one step. We do not promise immediate removal from every system.
Your questions and choices
Use Contact us to ask AIR Master Class about access, correction or deletion of your information, or to report a privacy concern. Mention “Privacy request” and the relevant account or class. Start with a short description; do not send login codes, passwords or identity documents through the form. We may need to confirm your identity and coordinate with the organising school before acting.
You can also correct available profile fields, control camera and microphone access, leave a class, manage supported notification preferences, and clear browser data. On a shared device, save your work and sign out when finished. A parent or guardian can contact the organising teacher or AIR about a child’s participation.
This notice will be updated as the service changes. The date above identifies the version you are reading. The Terms of Service describe classroom and account responsibilities.
